Caught On Video: Man Robs Fontana 7-Eleven At Gunpoint

FONTANA (CBSLA.com) — Police asked for the public's help Thursday in identifying a man who robbed a Fontana convenience store at gunpoint.

Officers were called out to a 7-Eleven in the 7400 block of Cherry Avenue at about 2:05 a.m. Wednesday on the report of a robbery, police said.

The robber entered the store and pointed a black handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the cash register and safe. The clerk complied and the robber left on foot in an unknown direct, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man in his 30s, about 5-foot-10, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue football jersey with the name "Romo" on the back.
