Caught On Video: Burglars Fail To Get In After Smashing Garden Grove Pharmacy Door

GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — Two people tried to burglarize a pharmacy in Garden Grove Wednesday, police said.

Officers were patrolling near Euclid Street and Westminster Avenue about 1:45 a.m. when they saw two males breaking into the front door of An Pharmacy, 10963 Westminster Ave., Garden Grove police Sgt. K. Ferrin said.

"The suspects saw the patrol car and ran in a northwest direction from the business," Ferrin said. "Officers quickly established a perimeter and conducted a search but were unable to locate the suspects."

The suspects were described as males who were wearing dark hoodies.

"Officers checked the business and determined that the front door of the business, a pharmacy, had been smashed," Ferrin said. However, the interior metal security gates didn't allow the suspects to get in, so nothing was taken.

Anyone with information on the case can call the Garden Grove Police Department at (714) 741-5800.
