Caught On Video: Burglar Breaks Into Pacific Palisades Home, Rolls TV Out On Dolly

PACIFIC PALISADES (CBSLA.com) — Police asked for the public's help Thursday to identify a burglar who broke into a Pacific Palisades home.

The burglar broke into the home on Aug. 24 in the 1000 block of Las Pulgas Road by prying plywood off an entrance to the back of the residence, Los Angeles police officials said.

Video showed the burglar rolling a large TV box out on a dolly and later carrying out clothes, what appears to be a laptop bag and another box. The suspect was also seen tampering with a camera using bolt cutters.

The burglar was believed to have left in a dark pick-up truck with chrome rims.

He was described as a Hispanic man between 30 and 40 years old with a short crew cut, medium build and weight, wearing a light-colored hooded sweat shirt, light pants with a dark belt and dark/light shoes.
