Caught On Tape: Shoplifter Steals Antique Bronze Sculptures By Stuffing Them Down Pants

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com)  —  The owner of an antiques store in Riverside is hoping the public can help her ID a shoplifter.

The alleged shoplifter stole two bronze antique sculptures worth about $350 each -- by stuffing the pricey items in his pants.

Surveillance video showed the man stuffing the statues in his trousers as he ambled around the store.

The owner of "Ann-Tiques" on Magnolia Avenue in Riverside says the man stole the objects last Sunday.

The store owner told CBS2/KCAL9 she had the cameras installed three years ago because she'd had so many items stolen.

If you recognize the suspect, please call police in Riverside.
