Caught On Camera: Woman Falls Down Rocky Hillside While Hiking In Eaton Canyon

ALTADENA (CBSLA.com) — A 19-year-old woman's fall down a rocky mountainside in Eaton Canyon was caught on tape.

The woman was hiking with friends when she lost her footing and slid down the steep hillside around 6 p.m. Wednesday, the Pasadena Fire Department said.

Her friend happened to be taking a video on a cell phone and caught the tumble on camera.

A small tree broke the woman's fall and she held onto it until help arrived.

She was rescued by helicopter and transported to a local hospital in known condition.
