Caught On Camera: Burglary Suspect Uses Stolen Credit Cards At Target In OC

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help Wednesday to identify a man who used stolen credit cards at various businesses in Orange County.

On May 1, a m,ale suspect broke into a home located in the 5000 block of Neargate Drive, and stole Bose speakers, credit cards, a Mossberg shotgun and several pieces of jewelry, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

The following day, purchases were made using the victim's credit cards at several Target locations.

Police said surveillance video captured the suspect walking out of one of the stores after using the stolen credit cards.

At this time, it is unclear if the suspect captured on camera is the same person who burglarized the home.

Detectives described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s who has short dark hair.

He stands about 5-foot-9 tall, has an average build, and was last seen wearing prescription glasses.
