$25K Reward Offered For Suspect Wanted In Carson Shooting Deaths Of Mother, Son

CARSON (CBSLA.com) — The Carson City Council Friday offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the shooting deaths of a mother and her son.

Around midnight on Saturday, Michele Kelly-Love, 54, and Jordan Love, 27, were fatally shot as they sat in their car parked in the driveway of a home located in the 19500 block of Tillman Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Jordan's grandmother, who sat in the back seat, was not harmed in the shooting.

Authorities said Michele was a mother of three children and Jordan had an infant daughter.

The investigation is ongoing as the motive for the shootings remains unclear.

A news conference will be held at 10 a.m. outside Carson City Hall.
