Anaheim Apartment Fire Significantly Damages 11 Vehicles

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Nearly a dozen vehicles were damaged by a fire that erupted Tuesday in carports at an apartment complex in Anaheim.

Firefighters responded to the 2000 block of W. Alameda Ave just after 2 a.m. for reports of several vehicles on fire.

Upon their arrival, authorities learned 11 vehicles sustained significant damage.

Firefighters were able to protect other vehicles parked at the complex, and prevented the fire from spreading to nearby structures.

It took crews about 25 minutes to extinguish the blaze.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
