Officer Struck By Car At Traffic Stop In Westminister Area

WESTMINSTER (CBSLA) — An officer was recovering after being struck by a vehicle at a traffic stop in the Westminster area, authorities said.

The collision happened on Beach Boulevard early Sunday morning, spurring the closure of both directions of Trask Avenue for the investigation.

The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
