Car Falls Hundreds Of Feet Down Embankment In Mount Baldy

MOUNT BALDY (CBSLA.com) — A vehicle has fallen about 500-feet down an embankment in Mount Baldy.

The crash off Glendora Ridge Road was reported about 2:51 p.m. Monday.

According to Sky 2's Stu Mundel, authorities responded to the scene and located one woman on the hillside.

She was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

Mundel said special dogs were expected to also be brought to the scene as a possibility remained that there were passengers inside the car.

The cause of the crash was not known.
