Cancer Survivor Donates Limited-Edition Land Rover To American Cancer Society Raffle

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A Southland woman who beat the odds in overcoming colorectal cancer is making a generous contribution towards cancer research. She's donated a limited-edition Land Rover towards a raffle whose proceeds will benefit The American Cancer Society.

Dian Vaugn says she was coming up on her one-year anniversary of living cancer-free and she wanted to make good on a promise to give back. She says she hopes this raffle, like her battle with cancer, is an opportunity for someone to turn odds in their favor.

The luxury car, designed by fashionista Victoria Beckham, is being housed by Peterson Automotive Museum. The winner will be announced in May at the ACS's 100th Birthday Gala.
