Jewelry Taken From Red-Tagged Home In Camarillo Springs

CAMARILLO SPRINGS (CBSLA.com) — A Camarillo Springs home that was red-tagged following a mudslide last week has been burglarized, authorities have confirmed.

A watch commander for the Ventura County sheriff's department said jewelry was taken from the home located in the 6300 block of Gitana Avenue.

Detectives are expected to return to the neighborhood Monday in search of security video.

The home was among more than a dozen to be red-tagged after a powerful Pacific storm pounded the Southland last week and caused a mudslide in the area.
