Call For Backup: Broken Pipe Floods LAPD Topanga Station

CANOGA PARK (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Police Department's Topanga Community Police Station was partially open Wednesday after a broken pipe caused flooding.

Officers won't be able to bring people inside the station because it remains under fire watch, meaning the station has no working fire sprinklers, according to police.

Employees of the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety were sent out to assess the damage, police said.

No injuries were reported.
