California Teen Reveals To Family She's Lesbian While Riding Splash Mountain

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — A California teen turned to the happiest place on Earth to come out to her family.

The girl identified only as Gina posted a photograph to Twitter with the caption: "This is how I came out yesterday ..."

In the picture, Gina is seen holding a sign that reads, "I'm gay" while riding Splash Mountain on June 18 with her mother.

She told BuzzFeed that her family's reaction has been positive.

Since posting the photo on June 20, it's has been retweeted more than 4,000 times.
