California Celebrates Kamala Harris As Historic VP

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Just moments after former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris, who began her political career in the San Francisco Bay Area, were declared winners of the 2020 Presidential Campaign Saturday, congratulations rained down from local politicians.

The first to send out congratulations was London Breed, who also made history by becoming the first African-American woman to be elected mayor of San Francisco.
