Cal Baptist Briefly On Lockdown After Pursuit Ends Near Campus

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Cal Baptist University was briefly on lockdown Tuesday night after a pursuit ended with armed robbery suspects on the loose, police said.

Riverside police say the suspects pursued on the 91 Freeway and the chase ended with at least one person in the vehicle running towards the campus.

The school was on lockdown while officers search the campus. The lockdown was lifted just before 10 p.m. and five people were taken into custody Sky 9's Stu Mundel reported
