Bystander Saves Boy After Near Drowning In Moreno Valley Swimming Pool

MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A 2-year-old boy was recovering Tuesday after nearly drowning in a swimming pool in Riverside County.

Just before 5 p.m. on Monday, firefighters were sent to an apartment complex located in the 23700 block of Hemlock Avenue.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, a bystander pulled the toddler from a swimming pool and administered CPR on the young boy.

By the time crews arrived to the scene, the child was alert and breathing.

Paramedics transported the toddler to a hospital in stable condition.
