3 Burglary Suspects Arrested After Pursuit In Jefferson Park

JEFFERSON PARK (CBSLA.com) — Police arrested three burglary suspects Monday after a brief pursuit in Jefferson Park.

Shortly after 5 a.m., officers were sent to the 400 block of Fairfax Avenue for report of a burglary, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A short pursuit ensued after police caught up to the suspect vehicle, a silver Grand Marquis.

Shortly before 5:20 a.m., the pursuit ended on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Western Avenue. The suspect vehicle caught on fire.

California Highway Patrol officers issued a SigAlert, which subsequently closed the off-ramp to the freeway until further notice.

Two suspects were taken into custody. Police said a third suspect ran from the vehicle and was arrested about three hours later.
