Burbank Costco Evacuated As Fire Crews Respond To Hazmat Call

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — A Burbank Costco was evacuated Thursday afternoon as fire crews responded to a hazmat call at the location.

Fire crews received the call at 1051 W. Burbank Blvd. around 4:30 p.m.

Dozens of employees were outside of the store around 5 p.m. taking refuge from the heat under the shade of trees lining the parking lot. The Costco gas station adjacent to the store was still open for business.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
