LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  — A Burbank-bound Southwest flight was diverted to LAX Sunday when the plane developed a mechanical issue.

Flight 1429 had 123 passengers on board.

After landing just before 6:15 p.m., the passengers were bused to Burbank.

The spokesperson added, "Our number one priority is always the safety of our customers and crew."
