Buena Park police seeking hit-and-run driver that struck pedestrian

Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian in Buena Park on Thursday evening. 

It happened at around 12:40 a.m. on Beach Boulevard, according to the Buena Park Police Departmenthttps://x.com/BuenaParkPD/status/1901279732135514269

Police say that the driver was speeding southbound from Artesia Boulevard and running red lights just before they struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Crescent Avenue. 

The suspect fled from the scene instead of stopping to help the victim. Their condition was not immediately known. 

Investigators found a Honda emblem at the scene of the crash and they believe it belonged to the car involved. They believe it suffered significant front-end damage and a possibly damaged windshield in the collision.
