Buena Park Man Charged With Vandalizing Sikh Temple

FULLERTON (AP) — A 21-year-old man has been accused of vandalizing an Orange County Sikh temple.

Brodie Durazo has been charged with vandalism of a religious property, a felony, and two misdemeanor counts of vandalism for graffiti at the temple in Buena Park.

According to the Orange County District Attorney's Office, Durazo is accused of spray painting graffiti, including a profane reference to the militant Islamic State group that was painted on a truck in the temple's parking lot on Dec. 6, days after the mass shooting in San Bernardino.

Durazo, who is free after posting $20,000 bail, is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 8.
