Small Brush Fire Knocked Down Near Baldwin Hills

BALDWIN HILLS (CBSLA) – A brush fire consumed 1.7 acres and a "couple of spots" Sunday in the Kenneth Hahn Recreational Area near Baldwin Hills, a county fire dispatcher said.

County firefighters were dispatched at 10:41 a.m. to the 4100 block of South La Cienega Boulevard, she said.

Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department were sent out just before that at 10:39 a.m., according to Brian Humphrey of the LAFD.

The fire was put out at 12:17 p.m., according to the LACFD.

No injuries were reported.
