Brush Fire Erupts In Angeles National Forest

LAKE VIEW TERRACE (CBSLA.com) — A small brush fire erupted Monday in the Angeles National Forest, firefighters said Monday.

The fire was reported just before 6 a.m. in the 13370 block of Little Tujunga Canyon Road in Lake View Terrace, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Flames had burned as many as 15 acres by mid-morning, officials said.

The blaze is currently 50-percent contained.

No structures were threatened by the fire.

Los Angeles City firefighters were also battling a small spot fire nearby.

No injuries have been reported.
