Brandon Ingram Named To NBA All-Rookie Second Team

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram was named to the NBA's All-Rookie Second Team Monday morning.

Ingram in the 2016-17 season played in 79 games, averaged 9.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 28.9 minutes a game.

In his rookie season, the former second overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft was selected to play in the Rising Stars Challenge at the NBA All-Star game and finished eighth among rookies in points scored.

This is the third season in a row where a Laker was named to an All-Rookie team, and Ingram is the fifth Laker in team history to be honored with Second Team honors.
