Boy, 15, Accused In Fatal Victorville Shooting Charged
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 15-year-old boy accused in the fatal shooting a 16-year-old girl has been charged, authorities said Wednesday.
Prosecutors said Dakota Washington of Victorville was shot inside her sister's home on Sunday evening.
She died a short time later.
The defendant, identified in a felony complaint as Xavier Minniefield, has been charged with multiple counts.
The charges include involuntary manslaughter, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury and possession of a firearm by a minor, the complaint states.
