Quake With Preliminary Magnitude Of 3.5 Hits Boron, USGS Says

BORON (CBSLA.com) — A minor quake has been reported in Kern County.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the 3.5 magnitude quake hit just before 6:30 a.m. Sunday 12.8 miles east of Boron, and 23 miles west-northwest of Barstow.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries.
