Bomb Threat At Etiwanda High School Turns Out To Be False

RANCHO CUCAMONGA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are investigating a report of bomb threat at Etiwanda High School Thursday that turned out to be false.

A bomb threat was called in to the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department at 7:52 a.m. Thursday by a person who said he was a student and had seen someone putting a suspicious device in the school, authorities said.

School security, deputy sheriffs and the fire department all responded to the school, 13500 Victoria St., but found nothing suspicious after a thorough search, officials said. Deputies also contacted the person that was described as putting the device in the school and determined the bomb threat was unfounded.
