Bomb Squad Dispatched To Islamic Center After Threat

GRANADA HILLS (CBSLA)  -- The LAPD's Bomb Squad has been dispatched to the Islamic Center of Northridge after a possible suspicious package was found there Sunday evening.

The specific threat was not disclosed.

There was a large police presence at the scene.

CBS2/KCAL9's Brittney Hopper said the package was discovered around 8 p.m.

A large perimeter was set up.

No evacuations were ordered.
