Body Recovered From MacArthur Park Lake

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A man's body was recovered Monday from the MacArthur Park lake, authorities said.

Police responded to a report at 7:50 a.m. at the park located at 2038 West 7th Street in the Westlake area, according to LAPD Media Relations.

LAFD crews assisted police with pulling out the body from the water, authorities said.

The victim was identified as a male between 25 to 30 years of age, according to police.

Investigators say there were no immediate signs of foul play.
