Woman Found Dead Near LAPD Station In Pacoima

PACOIMA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say an investigation is underway in Pacoima after a body was found near an LAPD station.

Police said a call came in about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday of a female victim with stab wounds. The body was discovered in a parking lot on Osborne Street near San Fernando Road.

When officers arrived, they found a woman with a single stab wound. She was declared dead at the scene.

The victim was located across the street from the Foothill Community Police Station. Detectives said they are investigating the possibility the victim was dumped from a vehicle.

A witness told CBS2/KCAL9 that he saw the victim and a man arguing at a nearby bus stop shortly before her body was found.

"She was tried like to get the bus and leave. This guy, he was trying to get her, kissing her," he said.

He added: "She was trying like using the phone and he didn't give like chance to make a call."

The victim's identity hasn't been released.
