Body Found In Motel Fire In South Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say one person has been found dead inside a room of a single-story motel in South Los Angeles.

Firefighters responded to the blaze at the motel in the 8400 block of S. Main Street Tuesday night.

When they arrived, the fire had already been extinguished. However, one victim was located.

Both homicide detectives and arson investigators have responded to the scene to determine the events leading up to the fire.
