Blake Griffin To Miss 2 Weeks With Partially Torn Quad Tendon

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin will miss at least two weeks with a partially torn quad tendon, the team announced on Saturday.

Griffin suffered the injury during the Christmas day game against the Lakers.

He did not make the team's trip to Utah for the Clippers Saturday matchup against the Jazz.

Griffin is averaging 23.2 points per game, 8.7  rebounds per game, and 5.0 assists per game this season.

He will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
