Big Rig Overturns, Snarls Traffic On Westbound 60 Freeway In East LA

EAST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Traffic was snarled Tuesday morning after a big rig overturned on the 60 Freeway in East Los Angeles.

The big rig struck a disabled vehicle and overturned in the westbound lanes of the freeway just after 4:30 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol officers.

Six vehicles were involved in the crash, CBS2's Mark Dunn reported.

Traffic was diverted onto the 710 Freeway until around 6 a.m., officials said.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
