Bicyclist Fatally Struck In Downtown Hit-And-Run Crash

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A bicyclist was fatally struck by a suspected hit-and-run driver in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said Sunday.

The California Highway Patrol says the collision occurred just before 2 a.m. at the Alameda Street off-ramp from the westbound 10 Freeway.

Authorities say the man, in his 40s, died at the scene.

Police do not have a description of the suspect vehicle.

No further information was immediately available.
