Beverly Hills Police: Expect Golden Globes Traffic Delays

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — The Beverly Hills Police Department was warning motorists on Sunday to expect street closures and heavy delays surrounding the site of the 73rd Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

- Police said Santa Monica Blvd. is closed in both directions from Wilshire Blvd. to Moreno Drive.

- Traffic on Wilshire Blvd., between Santa Monica Blvd. and the west City limits near Whittier Drive is reduced to two lanes in each direction.

- Whittier Drive from Lomitas Avenue to Wilshire Boulevard will be closed to through traffic. Residents who live on Whittier Drive, between Wilshire and Elevado Ave, will be allowed to use one lane to access their homes. Police Department personnel will be present at the location to assist traffic flow.
