Beverly Hills City Hall Reopened After Evacuation Over Suspicious Package

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Police investigating reports Thursday afternoon of a suspicious package at Beverly Hills City Hall have determined the item was not dangerous, officials said.

Officers were called out about 1:45 p.m. and closed Rexford Drive between North and South Santa Monica boulevards, police said.

City Hall was also evacuated, police said.

The building and surrounding streets have been reopened.
