Some people might think that a vegetarian sandwich naturally skimps on flavor. They might tell you that without meat, what you have is a salad on bread. Certainly those folks are entitled to their opinion, but that doesn't mean they're correct. There are plenty of ways to make a vegetarian sandwich that is both healthy and flavorful. These places show that a lack of meat doesn't have to mean a lack of flavor. Try any one of these places for a great vegetarian sandwich.

If you have a friend who thinks that all meatless food is flavorless, bring that friend to Sessions for the Summer Zephyr. This sandwich contains fresh tomato, arugula, mozzarella, basil aioli and pickled red onion on a French roll. All the flavors are then awakened even more with the balsamic reduction. It is not only a very fresh and light sandwich, but also a very flavorful one. It's no wonder why the Summer Zephyr is one of the most popular items on the menu.
