While wintertime in Los Angeles is not exactly like much of the rest of the nation, locals and tourists for that matter come here for the weather and numerous other things. As winter turns to spring, Los Angeles residents and those paying a visit to the City of Angels can enjoy some of the best spring beers found citywide and in the outlying areas. Whether you opt for something simple or something a little more exotic, you are more than likely going to please your tastebuds somewhere around the greater Los Angeles area. With that in mind, check these establishments and others to wet your thirst for some great tasting beers.

Onyx Lounge is located in the original headquarters of The Security Trust and Savings Bank, designed and constructed in 1906 by British architect John Parkinson. Tabbed a cultural landmark in 2003, the Italianate-style building was one of Los Angeles's first skyscrapers and the tallest building in the city until 1911. Visitors will find a number of different beer options, among which include seasonal and revolving beer, Monkey Fist I.P.A., and Scrimshaw Pilsner. If your appetite is calling your name, the menu items offer selections such as snacks and appetizers, salads and larger plates, and a raw bar featuring choices like oysters, shrimp, scallops and mussels.
