Bank Robbery Reported In Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) —  Police in Huntington Beach said Saturday that a man robbed a Citibank branch and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robbery was reported at a Citibank branch located in the 20000 block of Magnolia Street about 1:20 p.m.

The suspect was described as a white male, mid 30s, with dark hair. He is about 6 feet tall and between 230-250 pounds, police said.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a pink dress shirt and he wore dark sunglasses.

Police posted a picture of the suspect on their Facebook page. Authorities said the suspect produced a note demanding money but did not show a weapon.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction. No suspect vehicle was identified.
