Driver arrested after police pursuit in Baldwin Park

A driver was arrested after leading the Baldwin Park Police Department on a pursuit on Thursday night. 

Aerial footage of the pursuit showed the driver of a white pickup truck swerving through surface streets. At one point, one of the rear tires became flat and the driver continued to travel until it hit the rim and sparks could be seen flying. 

The initial want for the pursuit was not immediately known. 

The driver foot bailed around 11:11 p.m. near Walnut and Benwood streets. He jumped out of the moving vehicle and ran into the yard of a residence before being taken down by officers. 

No injuries were reported from the incident.
