Baby Elephant Tries To Charge At Tourists - And It's Adorable

A group of travelers were touring Kruger National Park in South Africa when an elephant charged at their open-air vehicle.

But the encounter was far from terrifying, because it was a small elephant calf whose self-doubting bluster made it clear the animal was trying to act like a bull elephant from his herd.

The animal charges at the tourists, trumpeting a warning, and then runs into the tall grass. In a video posted Sept. 6, 2015 to YouTube, the group can be heard chuckling.

And then the elephant tries again, charging at the vehicle with ears fanned out - which indicates a mock charge - before running back into the grass.
