Ax-Wielding Man Taken Into Custody In North Hollywood

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) —  Authorities have apprehended a man wielding an ax in North Hollywood.

The man was at Victory Boulevard and Coldwater Avenue, reported Stu Mundel in Sky9.

The LAPD said the suspect was behind a business waving the ax aggressively just before 3:10 p.m.

The man was disarmed using non-lethal force and taken into custody.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The investigation into the man's behavior is continuing.
