Authorities Seek Help To Find 'Quad Bandit' In SoCal Bank Robberies

BUENA PARK (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday asked for the public's help in finding a man they refer to as the "Quad Bandit" who targets multiple banks in Orange and Los Angeles counties.

Deputies said that the most recent robbery occurred Wednesday, where the man robbed a Union Bank in Anaheim Hills.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department said the is described as a white with dirty blond hair and goatee, 40-50 years old, weighing 150-160 pounds and is no taller than 5-foot-9.

The man has been seen holding a sign demanding money to bank tellers, then leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash, officials said.

The "Quad Bandit" reportedly targeted four banks in Buena Park on March 22, two banks June 16 in Cerritos, one bank in La Habra on July 3 and one bank in Anaheim on July 15.

Authorities said the bank branches include Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and U.S. Bank.

During his crimes, the "Quad Bandit" was seen wearing sunglasses, a Los Angeles Dodgers cap and other various baseball caps.
