Authorities Seek Couple Diagnosed With Alzheimer's Disease Last Seen Monday

CARSON (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is asking the public to come forward if they have seen a couple from the Carson area believed to last have been seen Monday.

Jose Benjamin Bracero, 73, and Consuelo Bracero, 75, both suffer from Alzheimer's disease and easily get confused.

Officials said Tuesday that the couple was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Monday, driving away from their home in the 22000 block of Kinard Avenue.

Their car is described as a 1999 black Ford Escort, with a California license plate number 4FVV422.

Jose is about 5-foot-10, weighs 175 pounds, has short gray hair, and surgery scars on both knees.

He was last seen wearing gray jeans, gray thermal shirt, brown jacket and a gold wedding band on his left hand.

Consuelo is 5-foot-3, weighs 125 pounds, and has brown hair. She was last seen wearing a brown tank top and burgundy pants.
