Authorities searching for suspect after stabbing in Temecula

Authorities are searching for the suspect who allegedly stabbed someone in Old Town Temecula early Sunday morning. 

It happened at around 2:30 a.m. near Old Town Front Street and Third Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. 

Deputies dispatched to the scene arrived to find a male victim suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment on what they deemed were non-life-threatening injuries. 

As they continue to investigate the incident, detectives have not yet released any information on a suspect or motive. 

The surrounding area was closed for several hours during their preliminary investigation. All roads were reopened by 6 a.m.
