Barricaded suspect taken into custody in South LA
A barricaded suspect was taken into custody Sunday in South Los Angeles.
The incident unfolded just after midnight in the 1100 block of E. 77th Street. There, a male suspect had barricaded himself inside a home.
A crisis negotiation team along with others arrived to the scene to attempt to make contact with the suspect. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody without incident.
The area was deemed safe, and residents are allowed to return to their homes, authorities said.
