Victorville: Suspect shot after stabbing deputy outside gym

San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies shot a suspect who was allegedly making terrorist threats and stabbed one of their own outside of a gym in Victorville on Thursday.

At around 11:20 a.m., deputies were called for reports of a man who was making threats outside of the In-Shape Gym, located in the 14000 block of Valley Center Drive. 

Deputies met the man as he exited the gym, at which point an altercation occurred and the man stabbed a deputy in the arm. 

The attack caused other deputies to open fire, striking the suspect multiple times. 

On Friday, the deputy was released from care in stable condition.
