Animal, Not Human Body, Inside Donated Freezer At Thrift Shop

LOMA LINDA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Tuesday night said a dead animal, not a human body, was inside a donated freezer at a thrift shop in Loma Linda.

Employees of the shop, located in the 24800 block of Redlands Boulevard, called sheriff's deputies after finding a large, smelly black bag in the freezer.

A man who was interested in buying the freezer told CBS2's Crystal Cruz that he thought it was a person's body.

Officials, however, confirmed to Cruz that it was either a dog or a pig.

No other information was made available.
