Authorities Investigate Cause Of Residential Fire In Simi Valley

SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities on Monday investigated the cause of a fire that erupted at a home in Simi Valley.

Around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, firefighters were sent to a home located in the 4000 block of Township Avenue for report of a fire, according to the Simi Valley Police Department.

Upon their arrival, authorities located the home fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were able to extinguish most of the fire by midnight.

All residents were evacuated.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
